Justice Court

 

For parking ticket violations in the village from Nov. 1st thru April 15th related to overnight street parking, the fine is $ 20.00 and can be mailed to Village Court, 425 E Genesee Street, Fayetteville NY 13066 or paid in person.  Make payable to Fayetteville Justice Court in form of money order or certified check.  NO PERSONAL CHECKS.

Court dates now held in person.

The Court Clerks office is open Monday - Thursday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (closed Fridays) for you to make a plea and/or make payments.

Criminal Court is held every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Sign in at 5:30 P.M.

**PLEASE NOTE:  In February 2024, the court dates will be February 6th and 27th.  [There is no court on Feb. 13th.]


In-court appearances ARE required for criminal matters. If you've already been assigned an attorney or retained one, please keep in contact with your attorney regarding future appearances. If this is your first appearance, please call the court before your court date to update your case with an active email. 

Should you have a matter requiring immediate attention, you may contact the Village of Fayetteville Court by phone 315-637-8070 or in writing by emailing your request to courts@fayettevilleny.gov.  Please be as specific as possible in your written request and be sure to provide your name, birthdate, return address and telephone number. Court staff will address your inquiry upon their receipt.
