Pandemic Press Release 3/13/2020Pandemic Press Release: 3/13/2020
Town of Manlius Supervisor Ed Theobald, Village of Minoa Mayor William Brazil
Village of Fayetteville Mayor Mark Olson, Village of Manlius Mayor Paul Whorrall
All four municipalities announce they are initiating Covid 19/Pandemic preparedness procedures and plans: EMS/Fire services, Code Enforcement, Town & Village Clerks, Department of Public Works & Town Highway as well as Town of Manlius Police, Critical Response Committee and Court systems for all villages and the Town.
In an effort to safeguard our employees as well as the residents we serve, all municipal buildings with have limited access to all visitors. Residents are asked to make appointments to meet with the village or Town clerks for any and all normal day to day business. Along with these changes we are announcing that the fire stations and DPW garages will be closed throughout the town to public access.
We also have been working with our senior centers in all three villages. At this time they will be closed for a period that will be determined by each senior center. Please go to our websites for further information.
All four municipalities are presently working on continuity plans to continue serving the public during this unprecedented time in our town. Mayors along with Town Supervisor are together coordinating plans for an Inter-Municipal Agreement to cover working together in all aspects of the duties and functions of the village and town governments. Our main purpose and goal is to continue to serve the residents in all of our municipalities.
Please continue to go to the CDC or Onondaga County web sites for the most current information.
