Centennial Display

One hundred years ago women were first granted the right to vote in state-wide elections.  Matilda Joslyn Gage, who lived in Fayetteville, was one of the national leaders of this hard-fought campaign.  Her life in Fayetteville from 1852 to her death in 1898 is depicted in a a display currently at the Fayetteville Free Library.
