I was born and raised in Fayetteville with my seven brothers and sisters. I was elected as a Trustee in 1996 and re-elected in 2000 and have served as liaison to the planning, zoning and historic boards as well as celebrations and buildings and grounds and in my second term as trustee I served as liaison to the Fayetteville Senior Center and Fayetteville Free Library. I was elected to the Mayor’s office in April of 2004.
From a very young age I was taught to give back more than you receive and, in the case of Fayetteville, I can think of no better way to give back than to be able to do what I get to do each and everyday. I have a dream that my two sons will want to live and raise their families in Fayetteville and everyday I work towards making Fayetteville the best place in the world to live. My wife, Kristen and I have called Fayetteville our home since 2000; moving here from Manlius. Like many others, we fell in love with our community. Nowhere else will you find a place with such a high quality of life; a place with a sense of community that makes you feel at home. It is an honor to be able to serve as a village Trustee.
